Drinkfinity Reviews - What Is It?

WARNING: DO NOT BUY Drinkfinity Until You Read This Review!
Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work? Check Ingredients, Side Effects and More! Emily Butler

Drinkfinity is a new company that produces wellness drinks that are claimed to offer personalized beverage choices for modern busy consumers. The manufacturer sells packs of pods via their official website. These pods are designed to fit on top of Drinkfinity water "vessels." So, the customer can "Peel, Pop and Shake" the contents of the pod to combine liquid with dry ingredients thoroughly for a variety of flavor options. This is the newest installment in the era of individualized beverage options. It allows to create customizable drinks at home. There were companies (Kraft Foods) that experimented with "liquid water enhancers". The popularity of carbonation machines like Soda Stream is growing. Drinkfinity is a venture of PepsiCo, so it is a brand that developed within its parent company. Their pods were first presented to the market in 2014 in a Brazil test market, but they came to the United States in late February 2018.

The company's Vice President Hernan Marina says that the product is designed to hydrate the user's body and to connect the dots between versatility and wellness. Are Drinkfinity drinks really as healthy, convenient, and environmentally friendly, as claimed by the company? Let's look at the facts. According to the official website, they provide you with a new way of drinking with a reusable BPA-free 20-oz water bottle and single-use pods. Each pod features liquid and dry ingredients that can be added to the bottle of water by puncturing the duel chambers on the pod on the top of the bottle. A shake mixes everything together quickly, providing a drink. Drinkfinity claims to donate $1 to Water.org for each U.S. purchase in 2018. The company's pods are designed to work with the Drinkfinity vessel, a special water bottle that should be bought separately. It is available for $20 on the official website of the company.

The official website of Drinkfinity lists the ingredients used in their pods. Different flavors may have slightly different ingredients. Common ones include spirulina, acai fruit extract, chamomile extract, concentrated coconut water, chia seeds, ginger root extract, green bean coffee extract, Panax ginseng root extract, guarana seed extract, lemon balm leaf extract, concentrated lemon juice, concentrated orange juice, lemongrass extract, passionflower extract, whole oat flour, and dried spinach. Each flavor also contains some additional ingredients too. For instance, Watermelon Coconut contains Organic Cane Sugar, Water, Coconut Water Concentrate, Natural Flavor, Sodium Citrate, Monopotassium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Black Carrot Juice Concentrate (color), Maltodextrin, Hibiscus Juice Concentrate (color), Salt. Oatberry Flow contains Maltodextrin (fibersol), Water, Concentrated Pear Juice, Organic Cane Sugar, Whole Oat Flour, Citric Acid, Concentrated Black Carrot Juice (color), Natural Flavor, Purified Stevia Leaf Extract, Enzyme, Concentrated Hibiscus Juice (color). We are not quite satisfied with these ingredients since some of them are chemical and can be harmful for the human health.

Drinkfinity

Drinkfinity is available in different flavors which fall into four categories. The first category, Charge, is enhanced with green coffee extract. Flow pods feature vitamin C and E to increase your strength. Renew pods are better used after a workout and are designed to replenish electrolyte levels. Chill pods are known for the content of botanical ingredients which promote relaxation whenever you need it. Each mode includes multiple varieties, including Coconut Water Watermelon, Elderflower, and Oatberry Flow. The website states that the pods do not contain artificial flavors or sweeteners. Each flavor contains between 30-80 calories per 20 ounces. The water bottle is made from impact resistant material that contains no BPA. It is said to be fully reusable and recyclable. The top of the container is magnetized to keep the cap in place. It is also dishwasher safe. The bottle has a custom-fitted piercer made to pop and disperse Drinkfinity pods into water.

Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?

The Drinkfinity's website lists nutrient-filled fruits found in their flavors such as guarana seed, acai berries, orange juice, and others. They sound healthy, but the site doesn't list the amount of these components in each pod. So, it is difficult to say whether you will really get nutrition from these ingredients. The Mayo Clinic claims that eating fruit fresh is much better than consuming it in juice form, because the healthy fiber is lost. Fiber slows down the speed of metabolizing sugar, as a result, you feel fuller longer. By the way, sugar is listed as a top-three ingredient for the Drinkfinity flavors. The drinks ranged from 6 to 18 grams of sugar per 20-ounce serving, which is bad news for your health. Maltodextrin contained in the product is considered to be a white powder made from corn, potatoes, rice, or wheat. This highly processed powder can cause your blood sugar levels to rise significantly if you are sensitive to it.

At the time of writing, there were limited reviews on Drinkfinity online. The company's U.S. Facebook page has a few reviews. While some customers appreciated having an alternative to their favourite beverages, others were not pleased with the sweetness of the product. Some of them stated that the flavors were unsweet and not tasty. The Brazilian Facebook page gave the product 3.8 stars. Many users complained that the pods did not disperse into the vessel and had left ingredients inside. The customers are also frustrated with limited customer support and slow shipping time. Many people were not pleased with the high price of the product. It is high time to take a look at the actual customers' testimonials left on third-party websites.

"I bought one Drinkfinity pack a week ago, and it arrived yesterday. The packaging was quite nice and solid. The bottle contained well preserved pods, but the drink was just awful. It tasted watery, and I could only feel the flavor. I will not buy the product anymore. I think the company needs to improve the drink. At present, I would not recommend it to my friends."

"The drinkfinity vessel I received was defective and I called the company's customer service. They tried to assure me that it was not their fault but my own error. What terrible service. I certainly would not recommend the company and their product to anyone. Their customer service representative acted like I was trying to cheat them. But I wasn't."

"I got tricked into purchasing the starter kit. I spent more than $35 on pods. After three uses, the piercer stopped sitting in the right place; it kept sinking into the bottle when the pod was pressed onto it. The pod cannot be pierced open. I contacted customer service to complain but the rep told me that their vessel was not defective. He refused to send me a new vessel saying that the product was out of stock."

Where To Buy Drinkfinity?

At present, Drinkfinity pods and the water bottle are available on the official website only. These come in over a dozen flavors. Four pods cost between $5.95 and $6.50 depending on the flavour. In this way, a 20-ounce drink costs $1.50-$1.75. One can also sign up for a subscription and save 10% on purchases. This service allows you to choose the frequency of your delivery from two to eight weeks. The company's website offers a variety of pods. The beverage vessel can be bought for between $20 and $90.

My Final Summary

Taking into account everything we have learnt about Drinkfinity drinks, these beverages do not seem to be worth the money. We inspected the ingredients and found out that the pods contain a lot of added sugars, which should be limited, according to the American Heart Association. Every flavor has a different amount of sugar. I don't think that Drinkfinity is healthier than regular water; however, it might be a good substitute for diet soda. The most common complaints about these beverages is that they taste bad and are very expensive. If you are looking for a proper way to stay hydrated, this company does not seem to offer an innovative solution. With this in mind, I cannot recommend Drinkfinity pods to usage.
